E-commerce Manager

Job Descriptions:

  • Strategize and implement comprehensive e-commerce business plans with a view to drive growth across all online marketplaces and achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage product listings, content creation, and maintenance across all platforms to ensure high-quality standards and consistent brand messaging.
  • Analyze and report on marketplace performance metrics, using data to optimize strategies, improve customer engagement, and enhance user experience.
  • Direct and coordinate online marketing and campaign strategies, including SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with the digital content team to produce compelling product visuals and descriptions that resonate with the target audience.
  • Handle customer service for e-commerce activities, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient query resolution, returns management, and post-purchase support.
  • Partner with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline order fulfillment, delivery processes, and inventory management, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Stay informed of new trends, technologies, and best practices in e-commerce, applying this knowledge to gain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
  • Manage the e-commerce budget, including planning, expenditure tracking, and reporting on return on investment for all e-commerce activities.
  • Oversee integration of company objectives with e-commerce strategies, ensuring alignment with the broader business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of e-commerce management experience, with a strong understanding of the Southeast Asian online retail environment.
  • Demonstrable success in growing online sales and managing a multi-platform e-commerce operation.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, Tokopedia, and others is essential.
  • Proficiency in analyzing performance data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities with the ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet e-commerce goals.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, data analysis, and online advertising.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Technical proficiency with e-commerce systems, CRM, and web analytics tools.
